What: Anti-Global Warming March

When: Saturday, December 8, 2007, 1 pm

Where: Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall
No. 505, Jen-ai Rd, Sec. 4, Taipei
(March will start at Guangfu N. Rd. Intersection)
Chinese Address: 國父紀念館 (光復南路口)

Why: To raise public attention of the global pollution crisis that threatens the survival of future generations.

Many countries are making an effort to decrease CO2 emissions and hope that by the year 2057, greenhouse gases can be cut by half of the present rate. Taiwan, however, does not seem to be on this track.

Taiwan leads the world in C02 emission growth, industrial river waste and per-capita pesticide use.

How can we just sit back and let this happen to the beautiful island of Taiwan?

Taiwan needs to get involved in the issue of global warming. Join the Anti-Global Warming Rally as part of international demonstrations the same day and rescue the next generation.
